CONSULTATION NOTICE

Renewable Energy Rider of the Barbados Light & Power Co. Ltd.

The Fair Trading Commission is seeking the public’s views on the Barbados Light & Power Co. Ltd.’s (BL&P) proposed terms and conditions to govern a permanent Renewable Energy Rider (RER). These terms differ from those under the current pilot programme. The RER allows customers to sell, to the BL&P, any excess electricity generated from renewable sources.

The consultation period will run from Friday, November 23, 2012 until Friday, December 14, 2012 which is the deadline for the submission of responses. Responses should be submitted via mail, email or fax to:
