DECISION ISSUED ON THE PRICE CAP PLAN
 
Pursuant to Section 39(1) of the Telecommunications Act, CAP. 282B the Fair Trading Commission (“the Commission”) has issued its Decision and Compliance Rules and Procedures on the Price Cap Plan 2025, (“PCP” 2025). The PCP 2025 and the accompanying Compliance Rules and Procedures will replace the existing PCP 2021.
 
The Decision and the Compliance Rules and Procedures address the implementation and operation of the PCP 2025, which applies to all customers of Cable & Wireless (Barbados) Limited (C&W).
 
The PCP 2025, which shall come into effect from Saturday, February 1, 2025, will govern the adjustment of rates of specific regulated telecommunications services of C&W as set out in the Telecommunications (Regulated Services) Order, 2006 until December 31, 2027.
