A REVIEW OF THE BARBADOS LIGHT & POWER COMPANY LIMITED RATE REVIEW DECISION

 

BARBADOS

No. 1 of 2010

IN THE MATTER of the Utilities Regulation Act CAP 282 and the Fair Trading Commission Act CAP 326B of the Laws of Barbados;

AND IN THE MATTER of the Utilities Regulation (Procedural) Rules 2003;

AND IN THE MATTER of the Application by the Barbados Consumer Research Organisation Inc. (BARCRO) for a review of the Barbados Light & Power Company Limited’s (BL&P) rate review decision dated January 25, 2010;

THE FAIR TRADING COMMISSION HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that:

The Fair Trading Commission will be conducting a written hearing pursuant to Rule 37 of the Utilities Regulation (Procedural) Rules, 2003 to determine the threshold question and a review on the merits of the Commission’s Decision in the BL&P rate review. The parties to this matter are BARCRO and the BL&P. All submissions and evidence filed by the parties shall be in writing and shall be filed on the dates determined by the Commission. Persons wishing to follow the progress of the review hearing are invited to do so by viewing the relevant documentation on the FTC’s website at www.ftc.gov.bb
