The Fair Trading Commission has approved the Barbados Light & Power’s request that from February 1, 2016, the Interruptible Service Rider (ISR) pilot programme be implemented on a permanent basis .

The Commission is satisfied that the terms and conditions of the permanent ISR generally remain the same as those under the pilot and that the revisions that were made benefit customers and facilitate greater participation in the programme.
