FTC APPROVES MOTION TO REVIEW AND VARY THE PRICE CAP PLAN 2016 DECISION

IN THE MATTER of the Fair Trading Commission Act, CAP.326B of the Laws of Barbados;
 
AND IN THE MATTER of the Utilities Regulation Act, CAP.282 of the Laws of Barbados;
 
AND IN THE MATTER of the Utilities Regulation (Procedural) Rules, 2003 and the Utilities Regulation (Procedural) (Amendment) Rules, 2009;
 
AND IN THE MATTER of an Application by Cable & Wireless (Barbados) Limited for a review and variation of the Price Cap Plan Decision (FTC/UR/DEC/2016-01) dated the 31st day of March 2016 and the Price Cap Plan 2016 Compliance Rules and Procedures FTC/UR/PCP/2016-02 dated the 16th day of June 2016.
 
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that:
 
The Fair Trading Commission has approved Cable & Wireless (Barbados) Limited’s (C&W) request for a change in the Statutory Financial Year from April 1 - March 31 to January 1 - December 31 of each year and a corresponding change in the regulatory reporting periods set out in the Price Cap Plan Decision 2016 and Price Cap Plan Compliance Rules and Procedures. This change took effect Wednesday, March 28, 2018.
