FTC CONSUMER PROTECTION RESPONSE TO COVID-19

In response to a number of consumer protection concerns which have arisen due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Fair Trading Commission has compiled a series of COVID-19 focused consumer tips.

These consumer tips address five (5) themes, namely: Complaining Effectively; Food and Delivery Services; Scams; Travel and Event Cancellation; and Telecommunication (Mobile) and Internet Services. The Commission’s aim is to provide vital information and ready solutions for consumers who may be faced with the scenarios presented. The full document is available here.
