 EXTENSION OF STANDARDS OF SERVICE 2018-2020
 
TAKE NOTICE that the Fair Trading Commission intends to extend the application of the 2018-2020 Standards of Service ('SoS') for the Barbados Water Authority, the Barbados Light & Power Company Limited and Cable & Wireless (Barbados) Limited (‘SoS’) until June 30, 2021 or until the Commission determines new Standards, whichever is earlier.
 
The Commission intends to effect this extension at the expiration of 14 days from the date of this Notice.
 
If any person has any objection to the extension of the SoS, written submission should be made to the Commission giving reasons why the SoS should not be extended on or before 4:00 p.m. on December 28, 2020. Submissions should be sent to:

The Standards of Service are used to assess the utilities' provision of service at the individual and national levels, with compensation given to customers for specific Standards where breaches occur.
