Why doesn’t BL&P read my meter every month? PDF Print
Currently domestic electric meters are read every two months. If the meters are read every month the cost would be substantially higher than it is now and this would need to be borne by consumers. However it is expected that in the future as technology improves, meters will have the facility to be read remotely, allowing for more frequent readings to be taken.
