PUBLIC NOTICE
 
EXTENSION OF FEED-IN-TARIFF FOR RENEWABLE ENERGY TECHNOLOGIES UP TO 1MW
 
The Fair Trading Commission has extended the Feed-In-Tariff (FIT) Decision for renewable energy (RE) systems for Renewable Energy Technologies up to 1MW for a further 6 months, until December 31, 2022.
 
The aforementioned Decision was issued on September 24, 2019 and previously extended to June 30, 2022 relates to RE systems up to 1 MW, categorised by size and technology, and sets out rates at which RE generators will sell energy to the Barbados Light and Power Company Limited.
 
 
The Commission will provide the public with further details about the consultation process in due course.
