The Fair Trading Commission is a tripartite body that is responsible for safeguarding the interests of consumers by enforcing the Utilities Regulation Act, Fair Competition Act and the Consumer Protection Act.  

The Legal Department is responsible for providing legal services to the organisation.

Legal Officer (Temporary)

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the following core competencies:

• Research Skills/Experience;
• Sound analytical skills and the ability to write sound legal opinions;
• Relevant experience as a practicing Lawyer;
• Excellent communication & presentation skills;
• Good computer skills;
• Knowledge of relevant legislation.
