What is exclusive dealing? PDF Print

Exclusive dealing is a practice prohibited by the Act where a manufacturer as a condition of supplying a product imposes conditions of sale requiring an independent dealer to:

  • deal primarily in goods identified by the supplier or
  • stop dealing a specific good or service other than that offered by the supplier
