 DEADLINE EXTENDED: CALL FOR CONSULTANTS FOR RE TARIFF SETTING
 
The Fair Trading Commission has extended the deadline for consultants to submit proposals for the development and design of feed-in-tariffs for renewable energy systems. The deadline, which was originally Wednesday, March 6, 2019, has been extended to Friday, March 8, 2019 at 4:00 p.m.
 
The specific objectives of the consultancy would be to: assist the Commission in the development and design of feed-in-tariffs for the various sizes of renewable energy technologies that have been identified under the Barbados National Energy Policy; effectively and efficiently transfer knowledge from the consultant/s to the Officers of the Commission on the development and design of feed-in-tariffs for the renewable energy sector; and simulate the potential impacts of the proposed tariffs on the economy, independent power producers, distributed generators and end users.
