AND IN THE MATTER of an Application by the Barbados Water Authority for Suspension of the Standards of Service Decision 2018-2020 – FTC/URD/DECSOS/BWA-2017-01.
 
NOTICE OF APPLICATION
 
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that:
 
The Barbados Water Authority (BWA), by Application dated the 4th day of August, 2020, (‘Application’), has applied for suspension of the Standards of Service prescribed by the Commission in the Commission’s Decision on Standards of Service 2018–2020 FTC/URD/DECSOS/BWA-2017-01 (‘Standards of Service Decision’), in light of the effects of the COVID-19 Pandemic on its operations. This Application may result in the suspension of the Commission’s Standards of Service Decision 2018–2020 for the period requested by the BWA or such other period as the Commission may determine.
 
The Application, in addition to the Commission’s Standards of Service Decision, are available here, or at its office at “Good Hope”, Green Hill, St. Michael between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Persons wishing to comment on this Application are asked to submit written comments on or before Friday, October 9, 2020.

The Commission will determine this motion by way of written hearing, pursuant to Rule 37 of the Utilities Regulation (Procedural) Rules, 2003.
