NOTICE OF APPLICATION
 
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that:
 
The Barbados Light & Power Company Limited has filed an Application (the “Application”) dated October 13, 2020 to the Fair Trading Commission (the “Commission”) for Approval of the Implementation of a Customer Energy Savings Financing Programme (CESF), pursuant to Section 16 of the Utilities Regulation Act, Cap. 282 of the Laws of Barbados and Rule 26 of the Utilities Regulation (Procedural) Rules, 2003 (URPR).
 
NOTICE OF HEARING
 
NOTICE IS ALSO HEREBY GIVEN THAT:
(i) In exercise of its powers under Rule 37 of the URPR, the Commission has determined that the hearing of the Application shall be by way of WRITTEN HEARING ONLY, pursuant to procedural directions to be issued by the Commission at a later date.
 
(ii) During this hearing, only those persons who have submitted a letter of intervention in accordance with the criteria as set down in the URPR will be entitled to participate.
INVITATION TO INTERVENORS

The letter of intervention must comply with the provisions of Rule 7 of the Utilities Regulation (Procedural) (Amendment) Rules, 2009, which amends the Utilities Regulation (Procedural) Rules, 2003.

Copies of the Utilities Regulation Act, the Fair Trading Commission Act, the Utilities Regulation (Procedural) Rules, 2003, the Utilities Regulation (Procedural) (Amendment) Rules, 2009 relating thereto may also be viewed on the Commission’s website.
