REVIEW OF STANDARDS OF SERVICE FOR THE BARBADOS WATER AUTHORITY
 
The Fair Trading Commission (“the Commission”) has completed its review of the Barbados Water Authority’s (“BWA”) Standards of Service performance for the periods January 1 – December 31, 2021, and January 1 – December 31, 2022, respectively.
 
The Commission’s Standards of Service regulation, which is a quality of service (QoS) framework -
  • ensures that a minimum QoS is maintained;
  • provides incentives for improvements in BWA’s QoS;
  • creates conditions for customer satisfaction;
  • monitors service quality; and
  • protects the interests of consumers.
